Lakshadweep Administration, Directorate of Education, Lakshadweep has announced notification for the recruitment of Craft Instructor, Social Education Organizer, Nursery Trained Teacher, Drawing Teacher, Coir Craft Teacher & Craft Instructor vacancies. Eligible candidates can apply in prescribed format on or before 21-09-2015 at 05.00 PM.

1. Craft Instructor (Needle Works): 03 posts
2. Social Education Organizer: 01 post
3. Nursery Trained Teacher: 05 posts
4. Drawing Teacher (Grade II): 01 post
5. Coir Craft Teacher: 02 posts
6. Craft Instructor (Papier Mache): 01 post

Age Limit: Candidates age should between 18 to 25 years for S.No.2 post, 18 to 30 years for remaining posts as on 21-09-2015.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Senior Secondary (Class XII) with 02 years Diploma in Costume design and dressmaking for S.No.1 post, Bachelor in Sociology for S.No.2 post, Senior Secondary (Class XII) with Certificate course in Primary Teacher Training for S.No.3 post, Matric plus Diploma certificate from a recognized institution in Arts and Drawing for S.No.4 post, Senior Secondary (Class XII) with Diploma/ Certificate in Coir Technology for S.No.5 post, SSLC & must passed Lower Grade examination in free hand outline and Model Drawing conducted by the Government of Kerala for S.No.6 post.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on Teacher Eligibility test, Written exam, Pedagogical skill & Personal interview.
