Government of Jammu and Kashmir, Service Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced notification for the recruitment of 34 Junior Mechanic, Painter, Fitter, Knitting Instructor, Industrial Promotion Officer, Assistant Extension Officer & Other vacancies. Eligible Permanent residents of J&K State may apply online from 11-08-2015 to 31-08-2015.

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 18-40 years for Open merit candidates, 18-43 years for SC/ ST/ RBA/ ALC/ OSC candidates, 42 years for physically challenged candidates, 48 years for Ex-Servicemen candidates, 40 years for Government Service/ Contractual employees as on 01-01-2015.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Middle Pass with ITI trained for Jr Mechanic, Matric with ITI trained in concerned Discipline for Painter, Fitter & Projectionist, 10+2 with Diploma in Knitting from ITI for Knitting Instructor, Graduation with Economics/ Statistics/ Business Administration for Industrial Promotion Officer & Assistant Extension Officer/ Manager Industrial Estate, Middle pass with Hill Driving License for Driver, Graduation from any recognized University plus 06 months Computer Diploma for Junior Assistant. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Physical/ Type/ Written Test/ Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 400/- in any of the branches of Jammu and Kashmir Bank in the account number specified and printed on the payment e-Challan only.
