Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has announced notification for the recruitment of 146 Paediatrician, (Specialist Services) Class-I & Paediatrician (Specialist Services), Class-I (Special Drive) Vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply online from 14-08-2015 at 01:00 PM to 31-08-2015 till 01:00 PM.

1. Paediatrician, (Specialist Services) Class-I: 141 posts
Name of the Category:
i. UR: 72 posts
ii. SEBC: 40 posts
iii. SC: 08 posts
iv. ST: 21 posts

2. Paediatrician (Specialist Services), Class-I (Special Drive): 05 posts
Name of the Category:
i. SEBC: 03 posts
ii. ST: 02 posts

Age Limit: Candidates age not more than 40 years as on 31-08-2015. 05 years of age relaxation given for Woman & ST category, 10 years for Woman Candidates belonging to ST Category. Refer the notification for complete details

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelor degree of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery of any of a recognized University or educational institution or deemed University with post graduate Diploma in Paediatrics of a recognized University.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on Interview.

Application Fee: Candidates has to pay Rs. 100/- + Postal Service charges, Fee can be pay through Indian Postal Order/ Online Payment.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through website ojas1.guj.nic.in or www.gpsc.gujarat.gov.in from 14-08-2015 at 01:00 PM to 31-08-2015 till 01:00 PM.

Instructions for Applying Online:
1. Before applying online, candidates must have scanned photograph & signature.
2. Log on to the website ojas1.guj.nic.in or www.gpsc.gujarat.gov.in
3. Click on “Apply Online” —> “Apply Now” beside the desired post.
4. Fill all the mandatory details in the application form and Submit.
5. An unique Application Number will be generated, retain it for further use.
6. Edit the application form by using application number, date of birth and click on confirm button.
7. Upload scanned photograph & signature, click on confirm button.
8. Take printout of application form and retain it for future reference.
