Name of the Post: Motor Vehicle Inspector

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18-33 years as on 01-01-2015.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have minimum General Educational Qualification of a pass in 10th Standard, Diploma in Automobile Engineering (3 Year Course) or a diploma in Mechanical Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education (3 year course) and working Experience of atleast one year in a reputed Automobile workshop which undertakes repairs of both light motor vehicles, heavy goods vehicles and heavy passenger motor vehicles fitted with petrol and diesel engine after completion of diploma & must hold a driving licence authorising him to drive motor cycle, heavy goods vehicle and heavy passenger motor vehicles.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on merit & interview.

Application Fee: Candidates should have to pay of Rs. .200/- in the shape of Demand Draft payable at Chandigarh, drawn on any nationalized Bank in favour of Secretary State Transport Authority, U.T., Chandigarh.
