Northeast Frontier Railway has released notification for the recruitment of 50 Sports Quota vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply in the prescribed format on or before 09-11-2015 by 17:30 hrs & 19-11-2015 for remote areas.

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18-25 years as on 01-01-2016.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation or ITI or equivalent/ 12th (+2 stage)/ Graduation or equivalent with relevant sports norms.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on educational qualification, Trial of sports performance, Interview and assessment of sports achievement.

Examination Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- through IPO drawn in favour of FA&CAO/NF Railway, and payable at Maligaon Post Office, Guwahati-781011. No fee for SC/ ST/ Women/ Minority and Economically Backward classes.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their application in the prescribed format on A-4 size plain paper along with two recent passport size photographs duly attested by a gazetted officer, attested copies of all relevant certificates, one self-addressed stamped os Rs. 6/- envelope (size 24×10 cm) through ordinary post to Asstt. Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Northeast Frontier Railway HQ, Maligaon, Guwahati-781011 (Assam) Or dropped in the Application Box in the Recruitment Section in the Office of Chief Personnel Officer, NF Railway HQ, Maligaon, Guwahati (Assam) on or before 09-11-2015 by 17:30 hrs & 19-11-2015 for remote areas. Superscribe the envelope as “Recruitment Against Sports Quota:: Event – ———————–”.
