North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) has given a notification for the recruitment of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) & Technician/ Project Assistant vacancies in the research project entitled “Chemical Ecology of the North East Region (NER) of India: A Collaborative Programme Linking NER and Bangalore Researchers” sponsored by Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, New Delhi. Eligible candidates can apply in prescribed format on or before 28-11-2015.

2. Technician/ Project Assistant: 02 Posts

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess M.Sc. Botany/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Environmental Science/ Forestry/ Plant Molecular Biology/ Ecology with NET/ GATE (as per DST/ DBT notification) for S.No-01, class VIII passed & 3 years of work experience in scientific lab/ driving/ scientific instrument handling/ field work for S.No-02.
